tourism – A new direction for Binh Thuan tourism
(binhthuan.gov.vn) The
recovery, stabilization and development of Binh Thuan's tourism industry to
adapt the context of the current complicated situation of Covid-19 epidemic
need to have adequate policy mechanisms, and appropriate, flexible creative
ways. Among the solutions that have been implemented to revive the
"smokeless industry", the promotion of technology platform to develop
smart tourism is considered as an effective solution.
Many solutions have
been implemented to restart tourism activities
In 2021, the whole
province was estimated to welcome about 1,774,000 visitors (reaching 37.3% of
the plan, reduced 46.16% compared to the same period in 2020), including about
22,500 international visitors (reaching 9.1% of the plan, reduced 86.86% over
the same period in 2020), 1,751,500 domestic visitors (reaching 38.9% of the
plan, reduced 44% over the same period in 2020). Revenue from tourism was about
4,158 billion VND, reaching 33% of the plan, reduced 55.77% over the same
period in 2020.
At these destinations,
tourists just need to use their smart phones or devices to scan the QR code to
get to the official website of the tourism industry with the domain name
www.dulichbinhthuan.com.vn in both Vietnamese and English. Here, all
information, images and clips introduced about the destination will be
displayed. As planned, the Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center will
continue to install QR codes at other tourist attractions in the province in
the near future.
Tourists can access
the Binh Thuan Smart Tourism Portal at https://muinevietnam.vn/ by using
browsers and can also download the Binh Thuan Tourism app to their phones in
both iOS and Android platforms.
The operation of Binh
Thuan province's smart tourism portal will contribute to create new
interactions in accessing information, this is also a premise to promote
tourism propaganda and promotion on internet, which is suitable for modern
information technology application form.
