Binh Thuan welcomes 85,000 visitors during Hung Kings’ Commemoration Holiday

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Holiday, Binh
Thuan’s tourism sector welcomed approximately 85,000 visitors, including around
3,500 international tourists, generating an estimated VND 237 billion in revenue.
This year’s Hung Kings’ Holiday was longer due to its
overlap with the weekend. The hot weather, clean marine environment, and
favorable conditions encouraged travel, sightseeing, beach relaxation, and
participation in various seaside recreational activities.
During the holiday, the peak in visitor numbers
occurred on April 05 and 06. Several high-quality accommodations, rated from 3
to 5 stars, reported nearly 100% occupancy, such as Centara, Pandanus, Bamboo
Village (Làng Tre), Seahorse, Victoria, Sonata, Sailing Bay, Victoria Resort,
Hoang Long Hotel ….

During the holiday, the Hung Kings Commemoration
Festival in Phan Ri Cua Town, Tuy Phong, was organized with a series of
exciting cultural and sports activities, including music and dance
performances, scholarship awards, traditional games for the people, making and
cooking Chung and Giay cakes, the Hung Kings Cup football tournament, table
tennis, badminton, carom billiards, etc. These activities helped attract
tourists and locals to enjoy entertainment, sightseeing, and photography, creating
a good impression on visitors to Binh Thuan.
During the holiday, the security situation was well
maintained. The Management Boards of the tourist sites and areas in the
province enhanced inspection and regulation of seaside entertainment
activities, while also ensuring good rescue operations and rescue teams at the
swimming locations. The quality of goods, services, and customer service was
also well ensured by business establishments, with proper price listings and
compliance with regulations.
Earlier, in preparation for the holiday activities,
the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities instructed the local
Tourism Management Boards to work with local authorities and police forces to
ensure that tourism businesses and service providers in the area comply with
regulations; maintain public order and safety for tourists, observe civilized
behavior, and ensure environmental cleanliness, food safety, fire safety,
traffic order, and rescue operations. Additionally, the Department of Culture,
Sports, and Tourism distributed materials on "Guidance for Preventing
Fraudulent Online Platforms by Tourism Businesses to deceive and defraud
assets" to help tourists identify the official websites and fan pages of
tourism establishments and avoid scams./.
