Border Guard of Binh Thuan Province awards scholarships to poor students in coastal areas of Tuy Phong

(binhthuan.gov.vn) The Provincial Border Guard Command
recently organized a scholarship presentation for poor, diligent students in
the coastal border areas of Tuy Phong District.
This scholarship award is part of the “Supporting
Children to School” program, which has been implemented by the Provincial
Border Guard Command since 2016. Through this program, the Border Guard Command
has supported hundreds of underprivileged students in the coastal border areas
of the province, enabling them to continue their education and contributing to
the successful fulfillment of the mission of safeguarding national territorial
sovereignty and border security in the new context.
At the program, the leadership of the Provincial
Border Guard Command presented scholarships to 19 poor, diligent students.
These students are facing difficult circumstances but have achieved good
academic results. The Provincial Border Guard Command has taken responsibility
for supporting them until they graduate from high school.
Colonel Đinh Văn Bộ, Deputy Political Commissar of the
Provincial Border Guard, shared that although the scholarships may not be
large, they will hopefully help the students to overcome their difficulties and
challenges in life, continue their studies, and become valuable members of
society.
