(binhthuan.gov.vn) On the morning of
June 4, Infantry Regiment 812 under the Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command
solemnly held the Swearing-in Ceremony for new recruits.
After three months of intensive training, the unit successfully
completed the training program for new soldiers as planned. During this period,
250 recruits - enlisted from 10 districts, towns, and cities across the
province - demonstrated strong determination and resilience. They overcame
challenges to develop political resolve, military discipline, personal conduct,
combat techniques, and weapon handling skills. Out of 13 training subjects
tested, the unit achieved excellent results in four categories: live grenade
throwing, explosive handling, swimming, and individual combat techniques. The
remaining nine subjects were rated as good, with all exercises conducted safely
and without incident.

The ceremony
marked the recruits' growth and transformation after three months of military
training. Following the oath-taking ritual, each recruit was conferred the rank
of Private and received their weapon from the commanding officer, symbolizing
their readiness to fulfill their mission of defending the Fatherland. The oath
under the "Determined to Win" flag served as a solemn reminder to all
officers and soldiers of their lifelong commitment to their sacred pledge.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Colonel Trần Hữu Nhân,
Commander of the Provincial Military Command, praised the efforts and
achievements of the new recruits and congratulated them on being awarded the
rank of Private - the first rank in the military hierarchy. Looking ahead, as
the recruits are assigned to various units, the Commander urged them to build
on their accomplishments, continue studying and training diligently, and
strengthen their political steadfastness and combat readiness.
He also emphasized the responsibility of military units to
care for and mentor new soldiers, continuously innovate training methods
aligned with operational plans, missions, areas of operation, and adversaries.
Soldiers must be trained to proficiently operate their assigned weapons and
equipment. The training process must integrate closely with discipline
enforcement and regularity building, ensuring readiness for any unexpected
situation.
