06 anchorage points in Phu Quy island officially put into use

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Binh Thuan Port Authority has just made an official announcement on putting into use 06 anchorage points of the ship anchorage area in Phu Quy island area, Binh Thuan province.
This is the anchorage area for ships in the area of Phu Quy island in the waters of Binh Thuan seaport. The work is located in the area of Phu Quy island in the waters of Binh Thuan seaport and the management area of Binh Thuan Port Authority. The scale of the ship mooring area includes: Anchor No. 01 has an area of 38.59 ha for ships with a tonnage of up to 1,000 DWT; Anchorage No. 02 has an area of 76.53 ha for ships with a tonnage of up to 5,000 DWT.
The project aims to meet the demand for anchoring for ships waiting for the bridge, waiting for the channel, combined with sheltering from storms to ensure safety, maritime security and environmental pollution prevention, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the State management of navigation in seaport waters under the management of Binh Thuan Port Authority.
06 anchorage points in Phu Quy area are: PQ-01 at the area with a depth of 4.10 m, tonnage of 1,000 DWT; PQ-02 at the area with a depth of 2.03 m, tonnage of 1,000 DWT; PQ-03 at the area with a depth of 5.10 m, tonnage of 1,000 DWT; PQ-04 at the area with a depth of 15.77 m, tonnage of 2,000 DWT; PQ-05 at the area with a depth of 15.77 m, tonnage of 2,000 DWT; PQ-06 at the area with a depth of 15.77 m, tonnage of 5,000 DWT.
