(binhthuan.gov.vn) According
to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, up to now, 9/10 localities
have completed the relocation of scrap collection and trade points out of
residential areas.
Specifically, the
localities of Ham Thuan Bac and Ham Thuan Nam have completed the relocation of
100% of scrap collection facilities out of residential areas; the localities of
La Gi, Tanh Linh, Duc Linh, Ham Tan, Phu Quy, Phan Thiet, Tuy Phong have
basically completed the relocation of large-scale scrap collection
establishments, leaving only a few daily small-scale scrap collection
establishments; in Bac Binh district recently, there has been a new point of Mr.
Nguyen Duy Sang for trading old corrugated iron and iron, damaged agricultural
machineries, and damaged means of transport located at National Highway 1A in
Binh Duc village, Phan Hiep commune.
As directed by the
Provincial People's Committee, in the past time, the People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities have regularly directed the specialized divisions
and People's Committees of communes, wards and townships to closely monitor and
supervise the relocation of scrap collection and trade points out of
residential areas, preventing these establishments from re-operating and emerging
any new point in residential areas.
In general,
localities have paid attention in directing the relocation of scrap collection
and trade points out of residential areas. Through the inspection, there is no
new arising or the re-operation of scrap collection and trade points;
particularly for the People's Committee of Bac Binh district, although there have
been efforts to relocate the scrap collection and trade points out of
residential areas, but so far, there has still been a new household engaged in
the collection of scrap.
