2 traffic accidents in the whole province during 4 days of public holidays

to the Provincial Traffic Safety Board, during National Day (from September 1
to September 4), the whole province had 2 traffic accidents, killing 2 people
and injuring 1 person; total number of accidents occurred on the road. During
the 4 days of public holidays, there was no particular serious accident.
Previously, in order
to ensure traffic safety during the holiday, the Provincial People's Committee
has asked the provincial police force to accelerate the implementation of peak
inspection and handling of violations of traffic order and safety in the
province, especially violations on alcohol and drug use by drivers, violations
are the direct cause of traffic accidents of passenger cars, freight cars and
motorbikes on National Highways, urban routes, roads with high risk of traffic
accidents. At the same time, organizing the peak response, fully arranging
forces and means and promptly deploying plans to prevent and handle gatherings
causing public disorder, signs of illegal racing; preparing for rescue and
remedy of traffic incidents, traffic accidents and traffic jams.
The Department of
Transport requires passenger transport business units to improve the quality of
services; to inspect, maintain and ensure technical safety of vehicles during
transportation activities; remind drivers to comply with the law on traffic
order and safety, pay attention to comply with regulations on speed control,
overtaking, etc., especially when driving on roads with many passes and slopes
to prevent traffic accidents …
