5.4% increase in the provincial industrial production value in 2021 compared to 2020

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the industrial production
value in 2021 of our province is estimated at 35,740 billion VND, reaching
89.1% of the plan, increases 5.4% compared to 2020. In which, the mining sector:
1,759 billion dong, increased by 38.9%; processing and manufacturing sector:
17,431 billion VND, increased by 4.1%; production and distribution of
electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning: 16,281 billion VND, increased
by 4.2%; water supply, waste water management and treatment activities: 268
billion VND, increased by 1.7% compared to 2020.
The construction of 6
wind power projects has been completed with capacity of 235.3MW and total investment
of about 10,139 billion VND. Attracting 04 more secondary investment projects
in industrial zones and clusters with a total investment capital of 11,624
billion VND. The province's energy saving output in 2021 is 52.23 million kWh,
reaching 124% of the whole year plan. The investment of 20 medium and low
voltage power grid projects has been completed with the total investment of
about 227.3 billion VND and 01 project in Phu Quy island with the total
investment of 30.1 billion VND. Completing 05 industrial promotion projects,
etc.
It can be seen that
in the context of the complicated development of Covid-19, the Industry and
Trade field has successfully conducted solutions to maintain and stable the industrial
production activities; the domestic trade and circulation of goods have taken
place smoothly; the market situation and commodity prices in the province are
generally stable, domestic and foreign trade promotion activities are continuously
concerned, the conversion of implementation method from in-person to online has
gradually yielded certain results.
