Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2023

Provincial People's Committee has just signed and promulgated the plan on
implementation of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2023.
The plan aims to promote
industries, agencies, organizations, associations, employers, employees and
communities to pay attention to and strictly enforce the law on occupational
safety and health (OSH). At the same time, promote specific action programs on
improving working conditions, review and develop safe working processes and
measures, assess dangers and risks on OSH; take care of and improve workers'
health; prevent and control occupational accidents and occupational diseases (OAs,
ODs).
With the theme
"Strengthening the development of safe working procedures and measures,
and improving working conditions, reducing stress in the workplace", the
OHS Action Month 2023 will be held from 1st to 31st of May
2023 across the province. Accordingly, the activities of Action Month will
focus on key issues, such as: Strengthening information and propaganda;
improving the quality of legal assistance, consulting, training and training
activities on OSH; organizing health checks, occupational diseases examination
for employees; the work of praising and rewarding collectives and individuals
that well perform the work of OSH; organizing specialized and interdisciplinary
inspection teams on OSH work...
The plan also requires the
organization of activities of the 2023 OSH Action Month be practical, effective
and focused. Encouraging agencies, organizations, and business establishments
to choose prominent issues in their industries and fields as themes in their
action plans on OSH to ensure high efficiency.
