Actively preventing dangerous diseases on livestock and poultry

According to reports of local veterinary management agencies, in the first 3
months of 2022, the diseases in livestock and poultry have continued to be well
controlled. However, some dangerous diseases such as African Swine Fever,
Eczema, and Avian Influenza are occurring in many localities.
In order to
proactively preventing dangerous diseases in livestock and poultry from arising
and spreading, and ensuring safety for livestock development in the province,
the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has requested the Department
of Agriculture and Rural Development to chair over and coordinate with relevant
departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to
urgently implement drastic and synchronous measures for prevention and control of
livestock and poultry diseases.
Under the direction
of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development shall chair over and coordinate with relevant
departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to
focus on reviewing and organizing vaccination and additional vaccination of
vaccines against diseases, especially dangerous diseases such as Eczema, Avian
Influenza, Foot-and-mouth disease, Blue ear, Rabies... for livestock and
poultry; proactively monitoring livestock and poultry diseases, especially in
areas where epidemics have occurred, and high-risk areas for early detection,
warning and definitive treatment when new diseases are detected; strengthening
the quarantine management, the transportation control of animals and animal
products; guiding breeders to increase the application of biosecurity measures;
cleaning, disinfecting with lime powder, chemicals in the cage and surrounding
areas at high risk.
