(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Provincial Management Board of Industrial Zones, in the first 10 months of 2022, the production and business activities of enterprises in industrial parks in the province are quite stable and there are progressive changes, results are higher than the previous year. In which, the group of enterprises producing items such as garments, leather shoes, bags, high-grade adhesive paper, wood, mechanical engineering, seafood, food, cashew kernels, minerals, and construction materials grow stably, some businesses recruit more workers to fulfill their orders. Indicators of production and business activities of enterprises in industrial zones have increased higher than the province's average.

Up to now, the province has 66 projects in industrial zones put into operation, with a total capital of over 7,760 billion VND, increased by 43.3% over the same period in 2021; export turnover is 220 million USD, increased by 53% over the same period last year; paid over 120 billion VND to the state budget, grown by 35.4% over the same period last year. Creating jobs for over 12,000 employees, increased by 4.5% compared to 2021.

Although, it is affected by Covid-19, most businesses have relatively well implemented the state's regulations on salary and bonus regimes for employees, signing labor contracts, social insurance for workers... there are no strikes or complaints or lawsuits. From the beginning of 2022, 331 employees of 19 enterprises in industrial parks in the province have received support under Decision No. 08/2022/QD-TTg dated March 28, 2022 of the Prime Minister with the amount of 493.5 million VND.

In addition, the Provincial Management Board of Industrial Zones also paid highly attention to security and order, fire prevention and fighting at enterprises. Accordingly, the enterprises performed quite well the fire prevention and fighting work at their premises; at the same time, organizing timely remedy of shortcomings, risks of fire and explosion as well as recommendations of the provincial inspection team.

In the coming time, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board will continue to complete the general planning of Ham Tan - La Gi Industrial - Urban - Service Zones after the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, vision to 2050 approved. Urging the implementation of procedures for compensation, clearance, starting construction of Son My 2 Industrial Park after the Prime Minister issued the decision on investment policy. Accelerating investment in infrastructure of industrial parks according to the set plan.

Well performing the support of enterprises to overcome difficulties to create momentum to stabilize and develop production and business; at the same time, requesting industrial park infrastructure investors to well perform environmental protection, take measures to ensure security and order, prevent fire and explosion, and prevent strikes and mass gatherings, illegal demonstrations causing insecurity and disorder in industrial parks in the province.
