In order to deploy the software “Application of remote sensing technology,
using satellite images to serve the management and monitoring of forest
resources in Binh Thuan province”, the Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development has requested the Heads of Protection and Special-use Forest Management
Boards; Heads of Forest Protection Units of districts, towns and cities
urgently contact the specialized division of the Forest Protection Sub-department
to receive the account of software “Application of remote sensing technology,
using satellite images to serve the management and monitoring of forest
resources in the province” to promptly receive information on changes in
forests and forest land in the area under management, taking the initiative in
directing and be responsible for verifying and handling those area warned by
the system, thereby, having the specific assessment on changes in forests and
forest land compared to the previous period...
The Forest Protection
Sub-department shall provide the software accounts to the Chairpersons of the People's
Committees of the districts, towns and cities to use to monitor and understand
changes in forests and forest land in their management areas as the basis to
direct the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's
Committee in Official Dispatch No. 281/UBNDKT dated January 22, 2021 in order
to effectively exploit and use the forestry data in the software to serve the
planning, direction and administration of the management and protection of
forest resources within the scope of local management.
