the afternoon of 28/9/2021, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Le
Tuan Phong conducted a field trip for inspection of the epidemic prevention and
control in Phu Tai and Duc Thang ward, these are the two localities that
continuously recorded new COVID-19 cases in the community. Accompanying the
trip, there were Vice Chairman of the PPC – Nguyen Minh, leaders of the
Department of Health, leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command and
leaders of Phan Thiet City People's Committee.
Blockage areas in Phu
Tai ward
Through the
inspection of blockade locations in Phu Tai and Duc Thang wards, Chairman of
the Provincial People's Committee - Le Tuan Phong requested the People's
Committee of Phan Thiet city to implement social distancing measure according
to the principles in Directive 16. /CT-TTg for quarters: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of Phu
Tai ward from 29/9/2021. It is requested people in the above areas not to go
out from 18:00 to 06:00 the next day.

epidemic prevention and control in Phu Tai ward

People's Committee shall quickly deploy COVID-19 checkpoints in Phu Tai ward,
strictly manage people entering/exiting this area. People passing through the
checkpoints must have a justifiable reason and a valid negative test result for
SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours.

For the area of Phan
Thiet Port, Chairman of the PPC requested the Department of Health to
coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to carry
out the screening tests for crew members of ships that have docked within the
past 7 days. Strictly managing cases of entry/exit, whereby only port workers,
seafarers, wholesalers are allowed to enter/exit the port, and all of these
cases must have a valid negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours. During
the process of working and trading at the port, it is necessary to strictly
implement the 5K message and measures for epidemic prevention and control.
