many cultural and tourism activities taking place quite bustlingly, so the
number of tourists from other provinces coming to Binh Thuan on weekdays as
well as weekends increased. Notable activities were: Bikini Run Phan Thiet
2024, Miss Grand Vietnam final, Rainbow Summer Fest music festival, Goodbye
Summer water festival...
In addition,
because it was still in the summer tourist season, along with many favorable
factors such as weather and smooth traffic, it also created a plus to attract
many tourists. Travel activities, support activities, entertainment services,
sightseeing services, food services and other services were always stable, serving
well and meeting all sightseeing and entertainment needs of people and tourists
when coming to Binh Thuan.
Accordingly, in
August, Binh Thuan tourism welcomed more than 925 thousand visitors, increased by
3.44% over the previous month and by 12.26% over the same period last year.
Also in August
2024, the number of international visitors to Binh Thuan is estimated at 28.6
thousand, up by 4.39% over the previous month, by 4.45% over the same period
last year; revenue from tourism activities in the month is estimated at VND
2,251.3 billion, up by 3.53% over the previous month, by 6.96% over the same
period last year.
Thus, the total
number of visitors to Binh Thuan in 8 months reached over 6.4 million,
international visitors is estimated at over 263 thousand; of which, the visitors
are mainly from Korea, China, Russia, Germany, UK, USA... Revenue in the first
8 months of 2024 is estimated at over 16,287 billion VND.
