Awarding scholarships to poor studious students

(binhthuan.gov.vn) On the threshold of the new school year 2024 - 2025, Emulation Cluster 1 - under the Provincial Public Sector Union, leaded by the grassroots Labor Union of Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited, organized a scholarship awarding program for poor studious students in Phan Hoa commune, Bac Binh district.
Here, the Emulation Cluster 1 - under the Provincial Public Sector Union awarded scholarships to Bao Tran, who is entering grade 10 and is an excellent student, and Van Thanh, who is entering grade 6 and is an average student. The scholarships are savings books worth 5 million VND each; at the same time, many gifts and cash from establishments and donors were also given with a total value of nearly 20 million VND. These scholarships will help the students to have more motivation in studying, and help their families to reduce difficulties in life.
As known, both students are Cham ethnic, from poor households in Phan Hoa commune. Despite their difficult circumstances, both students always strive to achieve good academic results and help their families in their free time.
This is the second activity of Emulation Cluster 1 in 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Binh Thuan Provincial Public Sector Union (2004 - 2024) and the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024). The total budget for the 2 activities of the Cluster is nearly 75 million VND from the contributions of the members of the cluster and other sponsors.
