Bac Binh district to call on the investors of the dragon fruit processing facilities

According to Bac Binh District People's Committee, the total area of dragon
fruit trees in the district is 4,032 hectares, reduced 595 hectares compared to
2021; Most dragon fruit growers have produced and processed off-season
flowering, dragon fruit output in the first quarter of 2022 reached 30,211
tons, of which dragon fruit production as VietGAP standards is 4,288 tons/714.85
ha, dragon fruit output in association and consumption is 60 tons/10 ha in
Luong Son, Hoa Thang.
In the coming time,
the District People's Committee will continue to direct specialized sectors to
coordinate with other departments and agencies to monitor and capture
information on export markets, customs clearance progress at the northern
border gates in order to keep up with the current situation. Timely informing
export businesses in the area to prepare appropriate production and transportation
plans. Actively coordinating with provincial departments and agencies to
attract and invite businesses to invest in agricultural production, especially
investment in post-harvest processing facilities.
