22/9, heavy rain fell on a large area in Bac Binh district, especially in the
upstream area of communes: Phan Tien, Phan Son, Phan Lam and Binh An. The large
amount of rainwater causes floods on the river and stream systems in the
district. Heavy rain with a large amount of water inflow caused floods on
rivers: Ca Giay, Luy, and Ca Tot.
According to Bac Binh district Command
for Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue, due to heavy rain on a

were damaged. Of which, rice is about 55.5 hectares, corn is 26 hectares and 2
hectares of beans. Flooding also broke the regulating gate of Song Mao water
plant. Damage is estimated at 300 million VND.
