Binh Thuan is estimated to welcome 105,000 tourist arrivals during the New Year

According to the Tourism Management Division
(Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), during the 2024 New Year holiday,
3 days off plus the warm and sunny weather has created favorable conditions for
the short tours to Binh Thuan.
Accordingly, Binh Thuan tourism is
estimated to welcome about 105,000 visitors. Tourist accommodation
establishments reached an average of 60 - 65% of room capacity, concentrated in
4 - 5 star establishments and equivalent, peaking on December 31. A large
number of visitors were concentrated in Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh areas...
Revenue from tourism is estimated at about 230 billion VND.
Tourism businesses had proactively developed
discount programs to stimulate tourism demand, deployed many new and attractive
tourism product packages, focusing on service quality to attract tourists.
Especially, on December 27, 2023, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan
province coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to
organize the Closing Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme
"Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together" in Phan Thiet city, Binh
Thuan province. This was the event that closes the National Tourism Year 2023
with great success and unforgettable impressions. The activities within the
program were very successful and impressive, attracting a large number of
people and tourists to enjoy this New Year.
Along with that, on the last night of the year
(December 31), the province organized a New Year Welcome program with many
special musical performances. At the same time, many 4 – 5 star accommodation
establishments had prepared to serve tourists such as: Gala dinner, buffet, New
Year's Eve art program... Room prices were quite stable, service prices
(entrance service tickets, seats and freshwater showers...) fluctuated insignificantly,
the prices of seafood alone were at market price.
In general, during the New Year 2024, tourism
activities in the whole province were very exciting. Binh Thuan is still a
destination for tourists.
