quick report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on the occasion
of the holidays in 2023, Binh Thuan tourism is estimated to welcome 160,000
visitors, doubled over the same period in 2022, the average room capacity is
about 70 - 90%, revenue is estimated at 230 billion VND.
In 2023, the Hung Kings Anniversary,
April 30 and May 1 go with weekends, with long break (5 days, from April 29 to
May 3) plus hot and sunny weather, the demand for tourism and recreation on the
sea route has increased. Summarizing information from tourist accommodation
business establishments, the number of tourists to the province is most
concentrated in the first 3 days of the holiday (April 29 - May 01), the
average occupancy is from 90 - 100% (hotels from 1 - 2 stars and equivalent
achieve approximately 90% capacity, resorts, hotels from 3 - 5 stars and
equivalent, room capacity has reached nearly 100%). Most of them are domestic
tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, the
Southwest provinces, Hanoi...
Also according to the tourism industry, this year's
holiday takes place at the same time as the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway comes
into operation, so tourists mainly travel with families, groups of friends and
individual guests by personal vehicles. In addition to the thoughtful
preparation of human resources and service quality to welcome guests, tourism
business units and tourism service providers in key tourist areas of the
province also organize events, fun activities and entertainment events to serve
