2022, Binh Thuan is one of 17 provinces and cities that will hold the
Competency Assessment Exam organized by Vietnam National University - Ho Chi
Minh City. Accordingly, the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City will
organize the 2022 Competency Assessment Exam (CAE) in 2 separate phases in
March 2022 and May 2022. Specifically, the first phase will be held on March 27
in 17 localities including: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen,
Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau,
Ben Tre, Bac Lieu, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho and Binh Thuan. In the second
phase, the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City is expected to hold
the exam in 4 localities: Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, and An Giang.
In Binh Thuan, the
first phase of the CAE will be held in Phan Thiet if the number of candidates
registered for the exam is sufficient to establish an exam site. This is an
advantage because candidates in the province do not have to move to Ho Chi Minh
City as in previous years. According to statistics, the number of Binh Thuan
candidates registered for the CAE organized by the Vietnam National University -
Ho Chi Minh City held in 2019 was 575, in 2020 was 761 and in 2021 was 671. In
2021, Binh Thuan province ranked 22nd out of 58 provinces and cities in terms
of the number of candidates registered for the exam.
This year, the
candidates start to register for the exam and apply for the first phase from
January 28 to February 28. Candidates can register an unlimited number of
aspirations. The aspirations are ranked in order of descending priority, in
which aspiration 1 is the highest. At the same time, candidates can register
for additional admissions and rearrange the order of aspirations after the
result of the first round of exam is announced.
