Binh Thuan: Nearly 3,000 lottery ticket sellers affected by Covid-19 epidemic are supported

(binhthuan.gov.vn) There are nearly 3,000 direct
lottery ticket sellers (lottery sellers) in the province will be supported by
the Binh Thuan Lottery Ltd. Co. during the suspension of lottery business, from
April 01 to April 15, 2020 with 50,000 VND/person/day.
Accordingly,
the total support budget is estimated at over 2 billion dong. The support is
coordinated by Binh Thuan Lottery Ltd. Co. and the Provincial Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committee, the lottery wholesalers, People’s Committee of
districts, towns, city to implement under the spirit of ensuring tightness,
right beneficiaries.
Mr.
Pham Nang Hiep – Director of Binh Thuan Lottery Ltd. Co. said: Currently, the
Company is speeding up the process of giving support money to the lottery
sellers. Most of the supported people are reviewed, counted and listed by local
authorities. However, in case of inadequate update, the localities continue to
review, update and ensure the right beneficiaries, leaving no lottery sellers
left behind without any support. Although this support is not large, it helps
lottery sellers out of difficulties during the suspension time because of
Covid-19 epidemic. The entire amount of this support will be accounted into the
Company’s business expenses.
