Binh Thuan province to strive for 10 – 20 more of OCOP certified products in 2021

According to the plan in 2021, Binh Thuan province will have at least 10-20
more potential products and strengths of localities being granted the OCOP certificates
from 3 stars or more; 10 more economic organizations producing and trading
products with potential strengths of localities to bring OCOP certified
products to domestic and international consumers.
To achieve the above
goal, the Provincial People's Committee has requested the departments, agencies
and districts, towns and cities to push up propaganda on the media about the
OCOP program throughout the province so that people, especially producers to understand
the benefits, importance, significant and positive economic value of
participating in the implementation of the OCOP Program. At the same time,
training the production facilities on business plans, implementation method of
business plan; standards for product quality and food safety, intellectual
property, labeling of goods, traceability, environmental protection in
production; marketing program in product development, supervision, promotion,
commercial development of products; consolidating and developing production
organizations participating in the OCOP Program and the value chains in the
OCOP Program.
Continuing to support
OCOP product manufacturers to purchase machinery and equipment for innovating
technology, improving productivity, promoting production, business, and trade
according to current state policies. Guiding and supporting the economic
organizations to build the introduction and sale points of OCOP products in
order to advertise, promote the consumption and production; developing craft
villages, regional specialties, OCOP products, potential products and local
advantages of districts, towns and cities. Promoting trade, and connecting the
supply-demand chains for OCOP products.
Regularly inspecting
and monitoring the quality of OCOP products at production facilities and
circulating OCOP products on the market; at the same time, carrying out the
revocation of the Certificate for OCOP products that not meet the prescribed
conditions.
