Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union launches model: organic waste classification and treatment at households

awareness for officials, youth union members and people in the province about
environmental protection in the classification of household waste, gradually
changing the habit of organic, inorganic and hazardous waste classification,
recently, Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union has launched the model “organic
waste classification and treatment in households" for 50 households in
Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.
At the launching, the Provincial Youth
Union has supported 50 households, with each household: 02 trash cans (organic
and inorganic), 02 lids for garbage pits (to alternately compost waste into
organic fertilizer for agricultural production), 02 bags of biological products
for composting, plastic bottles with a volume of 0.5 - 1l used to prepare
microbial products and perforated in the lid to facilitate the process of
spraying the inoculants into the compost pile. At the same time, guiding
households the process of waste classification and organic waste treatment.
Representatives of households have also signed a commitment to maintain the
implementation of this waste classification model.
