Binh Thuan receives 200,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine

the afternoon of 12/10/2021, the Provincial Center for Disease Control
coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to receive and transport
200,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine to the cold storage of the Provincial Center
for Disease Control by special vehicles of Military Region 7.
These vaccines are
part of the 400,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine that the Ministry of Health has
allocated to Binh Thuan in the 13th phase. The remaining vaccine will be
delivered in coming time. This is the largest number of vaccines that the
Ministry of Health has ever allocated in the same batch to Binh Thuan up to
now.
It is known that in
phase 13, the province will continue to prioritize vaccines for Phan Thiet
city, La Gi town, Tuy Phong district.
Up to now, there have
been 08 COVID-19 vaccines licensed for use by the Ministry of Health in
Vietnam. The current approved vaccines include: AstraZeneca, Gam-COVID-Vac
(also known as SPUTNIK V), Vero Cell, Comirnaty of Pfizer/BioNTech, Spikevax
(also known as Moderna), Janssen, and Hayat-Vax and Abdala./.
