Binh Thuan receives more than 49,000 doses of Astra Zeneca

the morning of 10/9/2021, the Provincial Center for Disease Control received
49,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. This was the largest number of COVID-19
vaccines that Binh Thuan has been allocated so far.
Among 49,800 doses of
AstraZeneca vaccine received, there are 48,000 doses for the civilian
population and 1,800 doses for the police sector. Immediately after receiving,
the Provincial Center for Disease Control has implemented the allocation plan,
in which priority is given to La Gi town with 18,000 doses, and Phan Thiet city
with 15,000 doses, these 02 localities are the hot spots of COVID-19 epidemic
in the province. The localities: Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Tan, Ham Thuan Nam
and Tanh Linh are allocated 1,000 doses each; Ham Thuan Bac and Duc Linh are
allocated 1,200 doses each; Phu Quy district: 600 doses.
Currently, localities
in the province are implementing the 6th phase of COVID-19 vaccination campaign
in 2021. After receiving the vaccine, depending on the epidemic situation, the
localities will actively implement the vaccination sessions. The main subjects
are those who has taken the first dose according to Resolution No. 21 of the
Government and Decision No. 3355 of the Ministry of Health. Particularly in
Phan Thiet city and La Gi town, in addition to the priority groups, vaccination
will be expanded to people in the red zones and blocked areas.

AstraZeneca vaccine this time is the largest number of vaccines that Binh Thuan
has been allocated. This is also the initial result of the provincial leaders'
efforts in finding vaccine support from the central government recently./.
