5.01% over the same period in 2023); of which, it is estimated to reach 234
thousand international visitors (an increase of 91.25% over the same period in
2023), most of them come from Korea, China, Russia, Germany, England,
America...
In
June alone, the peak month for summer tourism, Binh Thuan welcomed over 856
thousand arrivals (38.6 thousand international visitors), with an estimated
revenue of nearly 519 billion VND. According to comments from the tourism
industry, tourism activities in Binh Thuan from the beginning of the year have
always been vibrant, especially on holidays, Tet or weekends with the number of
visitors often increasing suddenly. The increase is due to many favorable
factors such as good weather, more convenient traffic, and many attractive
promotional packages, attracting tourists to visit. Meanwhile, the majority of staying
guests are domestic and concentrated in Ham Tien, Mui Ne, and Tien Thanh.
The
highlight of tourism activities in the first 6 months of 2024 is the NovaWorld
Phan Thiet with many large-scale, modern and attractive amusement parks, plus
regular cultural activities and sports organized by the province that created interesting
features attracting both domestic and international tourists. In addition, the
Phu Quy tourist route is considered as a "hot" destination, currently
being exploited by travel agencies, designing tours and introducing tourists to
the sea and islands, which is also a plus point for bustling activities of Binh
Thuan tourism in the first 6 months of the year. In particular, due to
benefiting from visa exemption and electronic visa policies along with unique
and attractive tourism products and services, Binh Thuan is also the top choice
of international visitors when coming to Vietnam.
