Binh Thuan recorded 01 case of suspected COVID-19 infection, safely isolated immediately after entry

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In the morning of
May 7, 2021, Binh Thuan province recorded 1 case of suspected COVID-19 infection,
a foreign expert entering Vietnam. Currently, this person has been safely
quarantined immediately after entry.
According to the Health sector, this
COVID-19 positive case is a foreign expert, male gender, Indonesian
nationality. On May 6, this expert entered via Tan Son Nhat airport and was
moved to Binh Thuan to isolate immediately after entry.
Test result on 7/5 showed that this
person was positive to SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the expert has been isolated and
treated at Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital. Therefore, this case
absolutely is not at risk of infection to the community.
Facing with the complicated situation
of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Provincial People's Committee recommends that
people to be calm, not subjective and strictly implement the 5K message Khau
trang (Mask) – Khu khuan (Disinfection) – Khoang cach (Distance) – Khong tu tap
(No gathering) – Khai bao y te (Health declaration)". In which, people
must seriously carry out wearing masks in public./.
