The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision regulating the
operating hours of environmental sanitation vehicles and trucks transporting
loose construction materials and waste within the province.
This
Decision applies to agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in
transportation activities serving environmental sanitation, as well as the
transport of loose construction materials and waste within Binh Thuan province.
Specifically, the operating hours of environmental sanitation vehicles
are as follows: For urban roads, the transportation time for environmental
sanitation vehicles is from 7:00 PM the previous day to 5:00 AM the following
day; in Phan Thiet City, the transportation time is extended from 7:00 PM the
previous day to 7:00 AM the following day. For non-urban roads, the Provincial
People's Committee does not impose any restrictions on the operating hours of
environmental sanitation vehicles.
Trucks
transporting loose construction materials and waste are not subject to time
restrictions, provided they comply with traffic signals and road signs; when
stopping or parking for loading and unloading, they must do so only in
designated areas, ensure traffic safety, and adhere to the regulations on
stopping and parking as stipulated in the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024.
To
implement this regulation, the Provincial People's Committee requests the
Provincial Public Security Department to coordinate with relevant departments,
agencies, and local authorities to enhance the dissemination and communication
of the regulations on the operating hours of environmental sanitation vehicles
and trucks transporting loose construction materials and waste. These
regulations should be widely shared with relevant agencies, organizations, and
individuals. During implementation, if any difficulties or obstacles arise,
agencies, units, local authorities, organizations, and individuals are
requested to report them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration
and resolution within its jurisdiction or for necessary adjustments
and
amendments.
The
regulations on the operating hours of environmental sanitation vehicles and
trucks transporting loose construction materials and waste within the province
will take effect from February 15, 2025.
