Department of Education and Training has just instructed the educational
management agencies, educational and training institutions in the province on
the Lunar New Year holiday in 2023.
Accordingly, the
Lunar New Year 2023 holiday for officials, civil servants, public employees and
workers in the Education sector starts from Friday, January 20, 2023 to the end
of Thursday, January 26, 2023 (from lunar December, 29 to the end of the next
lunar January, 05).
The Lunar New Year
holiday period for preschool children, school students (Primary, Secondary and
High School) and Continuing Education is 13 days: From Monday, January 16, 2023
to Saturday, January 28, 2023 (from lunar December 25 to the end of the next
lunar January 7).
In order to ensure
good preparation for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and
students in the Education sector for celebrating the Lunar New Year joyfully,
healthily, safely and economically, the Department of Education and Training
Education recommends that the heads of education and training institutions
continue to closely inspect, supervise, and ensure good school food safety,
especially at semi-boarding establishments; environmental sanitation, disease
prevention and control, especially COVID-19, influenza, dengue fever,
monkeypox... strengthening the prevention and control of violence, child abuse,
child accident and injury prevention and control during the Lunar New Year.
Besides, seriously
maintaining education and training activities until the Lunar New Year holiday.
In particular, not to organize the visit to superiors and leaders at all levels
during Tet; it is strictly forbidden to send Tet gifts to leaders at all levels
in any form; not to participate in superstitious activities; not to use the
State budget, vehicles and public properties in contravention of regulations. Officials
and Party members, especially heads of Party committees and organizations must
really set an example in implementing a healthy, safe and thrifty Spring
Festival and New Year celebration.
