(binhthuan.gov.vn) Recently, the
Ministry of Health has decided to allocate 746,460 doses of Pfizer's BNT162b2
COVID-19 vaccine to 63 provinces and cities nationwide, of which Binh Thuan has
been allocated 5,850 doses.
The Ministry of Health divides the
distribution of vaccines into four phases. Specifically, the province will
receive 1,170 doses each in phase 1 to 3, and 2,340 doses in phase 4.
The Provincial Center for Disease
Control will receive, preserve and immediately organize the vaccination for
subjects in accordance with Resolution 21 of the Government. In case the number
of vaccines is limited, priority will be given to administer the second dose to
those who have received the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine from 8 to 12
weeks if the vaccinated person agrees and the first dose is given to those who
have not been vaccinated.
To ensure a safe and effective
vaccination campaign, the National Expanded Immunization Project held by the
Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology will organize training on the use
of Pfizer's BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccine for units before the vaccination is
deployed./.
