Binh Thuan to promote the implementation of the National Digital Population Database Development

January 6, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision no. 06 approving the
project on population database development, electronic identification and
authentication for the national digital transformation period 2022-2025, with a
vision to 2030. This project is particular importance for socio-economic
development and national digital transformation, bringing many immediate and
long-term benefits in the development of e-Government towards Digital
Government.
In order to implement
effectively the Project and complete it on schedule, in the coming time, the
province will drastically implement to complete the population database as
required; completing the issuance of ID cards to 100% of citizens eligible for ID
cards, to implement the application of the National Database on Population to
serve the settlement of administrative procedures, and to build the
e-Government. Allocating appropriately human resources, funds and facilities to
ensure the objectives, requirements and tasks set out for each stage of the
implementation of the Project. Simultaneously, promoting propaganda and maximizing
the participation of the whole political system, the participation of
organizations, businesses and people in the implementation of the Project.
