In recent days, the COVID-19 outbreak has been very complicated in the world and in the country. From the morning of July 25 to the afternoon of July 26, 2020, 04 COVID-19 patients in the community were discovered in Da Nang and Quang Ngai cities. According to a report by the Ministry of Health, by the afternoon of July 26, 2020, Vietnam had a total of 420 cases of COVID-19, including 276 immigrant cases. Up to now, new cases in the community have not been able to detect the source of infection (F0), so the risk of spreading to provinces across the country is very high, including Bindh Thuan.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directly listened to members of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control reporting on the activation of the prevention and control system. According to the evaluation of the Steering Committee’s members, in general, the province's COVID-19 prevention and control system is in the best state of readiness for operation, the isolation facilities, the treatment facilities, the preventive equipment are full and ready to use.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai emphasized: Immediately after the emergence of a new case in the community in Da Nang city, the Provincial People's Committee issued a drastic guidance on the basis of the Central Government’s direction. At present, the provincial forces are in the highest position to control the epidemic, leaving no chance for the panemic coming back.

From 27/7/2020, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai requests the departments, agencies and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control to reactivate the epidemic prevention and control at the highest level. The health sector is responsible for deploying 38 fast reaction forces at the residential areas, not to be passive and surprised. Immediately activating the centers, facilities to receive and treat COVID-19 patients. Preparing adequate facilities, equipment, medical supplies including Realtime-PCR testing machine for on-site testing.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests the police and military forces to immediately activate all planned forces and isolation facilities; reviewing the equipment, facilities for prevention and control of the epidemic; the Director of the Provincial Public Security Department to direct the deployment of forces to search for cases of illegal immigrants into the localities.

Concluding remarks at the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung requested the departments, agencies and localities to fully implement the guidance of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the Dispatch no. 2725/UBND-KGVNNV dated July 26, 2020 on proactive implementation of measures to prevent and control COVID-19 in the province. Starting from today, the news and media agencies must strengthen the information and communication on COVID-19 epidemics and preventive measures to the community.

For people traveling through Da Nang and Quang Ngai, after returning to the province must notify the local authorities and monitor their own health. Binh Thuan Province recommends that people do not travel to the two provinces mentioned above at this time, and the province will conduct screening of people from Da Nang and Quang Ngai to Binh Thuan during this time.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggests that people actively notify the authorities when detecting any case of illegal entry into the province; at the same time directs the functional forces to strengthen the management of temporary residence, especially at tourist, recreation and entertainment units; regularly inspects and reviews the foreigners staying illegally in the area as well as foreigners working locally; strictly handls the acts of posting untrue information, causing confusion in the community.

The Provincial People's Committee instructs the Department of Education and Training to carry out the necessary work to prevent and control the epidemic, be ready to serve the graduation exams safely./.
