Binh Thuan tourism welcomed over 4,000 arrivals after reopening

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just reported the results of the
assessment of the reoperation of tourism businesses in the situation of
Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.
Binh Thuan tourism industry has re-started
welcoming tourists from October 24. In order to increase the effectiveness of
epidemic prevention and control during the process of welcoming guests, the
participating accommodation and tourist service establishments must strictly
follow the temporary guidance on the measures for safe, flexible adaptation and
effective control of Covid-19 epidemic according to each epidemic level,
applied in the tourism sector in the province.
According to the Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism, the whole province has 30 tourist establishments allowed
to re-open. However, most of these establishments receive very few visitors
because of the increasing and complicated disease situation. From October 24,
2021 to now, these tourism businesses have only welcomed about 4,200 guests. Most
of the domestic visitors are mainly retail guests, families booking directly with
the hotels. Guests from the provinces of Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh
Duong, An Giang, Long An, Ninh Thuan, Hanoi... have the average stay of 1-2
nights, focusing on weekends. The facilities are ensured to comply with the
approved operation plan.
Most of the tourist accommodation
businesses are proactive in disease prevention, strictly complying with 5K
regulations and the guidance of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism,
so there are currently no cases of Covid-19 recorded in these tourist establishments.
