Binh Thuan will be allocated 26,880 doses of Moderna vaccine

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In the morning of 13/7/2021, the Ministry of Health
held a nationwide online conference to guide the vaccination of COVID-19
vaccines. At the bridge of Binh Thuan
Department of Health, it was the attendance of leaders of the Department,
representatives of the Provincial General Hospital and the Provincial Center
for Disease Control.
At the conference, the experts
provided vaccination instructions of new vaccines for COVID-19, which are
Pfizer's Comirnary vaccine, Sinopharm's Moderna vaccine, and Vero Cell vaccine. Accordingly,
localities must ensure five main activities of the national COVID-19
vaccination campaign, including receiving, transporting and preserving
vaccines; vaccination; vaccination
safety; monitoring vaccine quality; applying
information technology to manage COVID-19 vaccination and media communication.
As announced at the
conference, for Binh Thuan, in addition to 900 doses of Vero Cell vaccine
manufactured by Sinopharm and donated by the Chinese Government, which will
administer to Chinese citizens living in the province, people with demand for
exchange, trade and service activities with China, the Ministry of Health
decides to allocate an additional 26,880 doses of Moderna vaccine from the US
Government's aid. The provincial Center for Disease Control shall receive and
preserve vaccines according to the manufacturer's instructions. At the same
time, organizing the vaccination according to the priority order in Resolution
21 of the Government./.
