Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to go on-site inspection the interdisciplinary COVID-19 checkpoint in Ham Tan district

In the morning of 07/7, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Le Tuan
Phong had an on-site inspection of the interdisciplinary COVID-19 checkpoint in
the area bordering the administrative boundary between Binh Thuan and Dong Nai on
National Road 1A, in Ham Tan district, accompanied by the leaders of relevant
departments, agencies and localities.
The on-road
interdisciplinary checkpoint for COVID-19 prevention and control was established by the Provincial People's
Committee on July 06/7, and officially operates from 7:00 a.m. on July 7,
07/7/2021. The checkpoint operates 24/24 hours, with task of medical control;
inspecting the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic toward people
and vehicles traveling through the province.
Through the
inspection, in order for the checkpoint to work better and proper, the Chairman
of the Provincial People's Committee has requested the relevant departments,
agencies and localities to strengthen the forces, and to ensure vehicles,
materials and equipment, working and living conditions for the force working at
the checkpoint so that they can perform well the medical check and control. At
the same time, it is necessary to have a unified form for the person undergoing
of medical check to fully declare such as: Vehicle plate number, full name,
contact phone number and destination, etc. In addition, installing cameras in
the health declaration area to clearly capture the objects.

In order to avoid
traffic jams at the checkpoint, the Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee requested the declaration at the checkpoint to be done quickly and
neatly, and arranging the flow for people and vehicles to enter for medical
check. In particular, for intercity vehicles, it is necessary for the driver to
fully declare and sign a commitment not to go inside the province. For the
cases of going into the inner province, it is necessary to make declaration
thoroughly, capturing the objects and their destinations, after each shift,
sending immediately the list of the arrivals to the localities for the
awareness and management. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
also noted the cases of detection of high risk such as high fever, cough, etc.,
it should conduct the quick SARS-CoV-2 test on the spot for screening.
