Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to visit the traffic police captain who was injured on duty

the evening of 29/7, Chairman of the PPC - Le Tuan Phong and leaders of the
Provincial Public Security, Office of the PPC visited and encouraged Captain
Pham Huy Hoa, an officer of the Traffic Police Division of Tanh Linh district
Public Security, who was injured while on duty and, is being treated at An
Phuoc General Hospital.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee paid concern about Captain Pham Huy Hoa's health, encouraged him to
treat his wounds, and wishing him to recover soon. The Chairman of the PPC also
highly appreciated and praised the spirit of wholeheartedness for duty of
Captain Hoa.
Before that, at 14:35, on 26/7, at the
Covid-19 checkpoint no. 4 on National Road 55, the section through Lac Tanh
town, Tanh Linh district, there was 1 person riding a motorbike towards Lac
Tanh commune. When he arrived at the checkpoint, instead of obeying the stop
signal for health declaration as prescribed, he had ran away. Observing that,
Captain Pham Huy Hoa used his official motorcycle to chase. However, the person
continued to ride the vehicle at high speed and weaved in and out of the lanes.
Unfortunately, when he reached the section of Hamlet 1, Duc Binh commune, Tanh
Linh district, Captain Hoa had an accident. As a result, both arms of Captain
Pham Huy Hoa were broken.
Through this incident, the Chairman of
the PPC has noted the forces on duty at the epidemic control checkpoints in the
province to strengthen the monitoring of vehicles passing through the
checkpoints. In similar cases, we should record the vehicle control plate and
notify the local police forces at the places where the objects fled to for
coordinating in the pursuit.
