Closing the third session (thematic) – Provincial People’s Council, term XI

After a working day of urgency, seriousness, democracy and high responsibility,
on the afternoon of 28/9, the 11th Provincial People's Council completed the
content and agenda of the third (thematic) session.
At the session, on
the basis of considering the Proposal and Draft Resolution of the Standing
Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's
Committee, the inspection report of the committees of the Provincial People's
Council; based on the provisions of current laws and the actual situation of
the locality, the Provincial People's Council discussed and unanimously
approved 11 resolutions on the fields of socio-economic development of the
province and the operation of the People's Council.
At the same time, the
Provincial People's Council also considered, discussed and decided on the cadre
work under the competence of the Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, 100%
of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council attending the session voted
unanimously to dismiss Mr. Do Van Chung from the position of Deputy Head of the
Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council for the term
2021 – 2026 due to moving to a new position; elected Mr. Lam Hong Tuyen, Acting
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Member of the Provincial People's
Council, term 2021 - 2026 to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Economic
and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council. In addition, the
Provincial People's Council also elected Mrs. Pham Thi Minh Hieu - Director of
the Department of Justice as the Member of the Provincial People's Committee,
term 2021 - 2026.
Giving closing
speech, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Hoai Anh suggested
that after this session, the Members of the Provincial People's Council,
departments, agencies, localities, and news and presses should make more
efforts in propaganda, widely disseminating the Resolutions to voters and
people in the province in order to create the high consensus for joint
implementation and joint supervision. The Chairman of the Provincial People's
Council also suggested the Provincial People's Committee to focus on directing
immediately the implementation of the execution plan of the Resolutions; All
levels and sectors must perform well the investment preparation so that
projects and works can soon be deployed on schedule, ensuring quality and
efficiency. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the
Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the delegation groups, and the Members
of the Provincial People's Council shall focus on monitoring the implementation
process of the resolutions approved by the Provincial People's Council.
