Conduction of screening SARS-CoV-2 test for candidates and members of agencies in charge of elections

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Executing the
direction of the National Election Council in Dispatch no 660/HDBCQG-VP dated
06/5/2021 on continuing to lead and direct the election, including the requirement
on SARS-Cov-2 screening tests for candidates and members of agencies in charge
of elections, the Provincial Election Commission signed and issued a dispatch
requesting the Department of Home Affairs to urgently prepare a list of
candidates for the 15th National Assembly deputies in the province and the list
of candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the term 2021 - 2026
currently working and residing in Phan Thiet city; preparing a list of members
of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, members of the Provincial
Election Commission and members of the assisting teams for the agencies in
charge of provincial-level election currently working and residing in Phan
Thiet city. After that, sending the list of candidates and members of the above
electoral agencies to the Department of Health to coordinate in SARS-Cov-2 screening
test.
The Provincial Election Commission
proposed the Department of Health to direct the professional units to conduct
SARS-Cov-2 screening tests for candidates and members of provincial election
agencies in Phan Thiet city; to direct and guide the district-level health
units to coordinate well with the Election Commissions, People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities in taking samples for SARS-Cov-2 screening test for
candidates and members of electoral agencies at district and commune level.
Particularly, the Election Commissions
and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, should prepare lists of
members of Election Committees of National Assembly deputies, Election
Committees of Provincial People's Council deputies, candidates and members of
the election units currently working in each localities, send them to the
district health authorities to organize sampling for SARS-Cov-2 screening test.
Directing the commune-level People's Committees to prepare lists of candidates
and members of the commune-level election units, and send them to the
district-level health authorities to organize sampling for SARS-Cov-2 screening
test. Coordinating with district health authorities to organize sampling for
SARS-Cov-2 screening test; reporting the results to the Provincial Election
Commission for the follow-up.
