Consumer price index increased in 2 consecutive months

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in November 2022 increased by 0.47% over the previous month. This is the 2nd consecutive increase since October 2022

Specifically, CPI in November 2022 increased by 0.47 compared to October; by 4.37% over the same period in 2021 and 4.27% compared to December 2021. The average CPI in the first 11 months of 2022 increased by 3.56% compared to the average of the same period in 2021.

Compared to the previous month, in 11 main groups of consumer goods and services, 08 groups of goods increased in price, namely: Transportation 2.51%; Housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials 0.6%; Appliances and household appliances 0.29%; Food and catering services 0.25%; Garment, hats and footwear 0.25%; Beverages and tobacco 0.21%; Other goods and services 0.18%; Culture, entertainment and tourism 0.07%.

03 stable groups, namely: drugs and medical services; postal and telecommunications; education.

It is expected that CPI of the whole province in December will continue to increase because according to the trend, prices of many essential commodities such as rice, glutinous rice, pork, beef... may increase at the end of the year. Crude oil prices in the world market are also at a high level, leading to domestic gasoline prices may continue to increase.
