Consumer price index keeps falling

counted by the Provincial Statistics Office, after a decrease of 0.11% in
August, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in September in Binh Thuan province
continuously records a decrease of 0.14% compared to August 2022, but it
increases 2.58% compared to the same period last year.
Data from the
Provincial Statistics Office also shows that, compared to August 2022, among 11
main groups of consumer goods and services, 07 groups of goods increased in
price, including: Education (0.58%), equipment and household goods (0.24%),
beverages and tobacco (0.20%), food services (0.12%), culture - entertainment
and tourism (0.03%), other goods and services (0.01%), medicine and medical
services (0.01%).
There are 03 groups
of goods degreased in price: Transportation (2.51%), housing – electricity, water
- fuel and construction materials (0.03%), garment - hats and shoes (0, 01%).
The main reason for the significant decrease in the transportation group is the
impact of the domestic petrol price adjustments (on September 05, 12, and 21)
which made gasoline prices decreased by 5.92% compared to the previous month.
Group of Posts and
