(binhthuan.gov.vn) Facing the complicated developments of the COVID-19 in the area of Phan Thiet city; till 14/8/2021, the city has focused on implementing the social distancing measures according to the principles in Directive no. 16/CT-TTg dated 31/3/2020 of the Prime Minister, mobilizing the entire force for the tracing, epidemiological investigation, zoning and isolation of cases related to the infections; however, the epidemic has not been completely controlled, there is still the possibility of many new infections in the city.

In order to achieve fully the goal of controlling and completely settling the epidemic as soon as possible, preventing it from spreading in the community, and protecting the people's health; considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet in Dispatch no. 212/UBND-YT dated 14/8/2021, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a dispatch on the approval to continue the social distancing throughout Phan Thiet city until the end of 22/8/2021 according to the principles in Directive no. 16/CT-TTg dated 31/3/2020 of the Prime Minister. The entire political system of Phan Thiet city shall concentrate all resources for the determination of controlling the epidemic as soon as possible.

The Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee is requested to continue to mobilize the participation of the whole political system and people of all strata to implement more synchronously, drastically and effectively the measures for epidemic prevention and control; strengthening the inspection and supervision; strengthening the responsibilities of heads of agencies, units and localities in epidemic prevention and control; not being subjective and neglected as directed by the Provincial People's Committee in Dispatch no. 2834/UBND-KGVXNV dated 31/7/2021 and Notice no. 173/TB-UBND dated 118/2021.

Continuing to review the operation of the markets to ensure the safe distance between the stalls, between people, controlling the people entering the market, and arranging the traffic flow in one-way direction. In case of not ensuring the safety, there must be a solution to rearrange or select a more suitable location.

Strengthening the inspection and control of people for going out in case of necessary, especially in the southern area of the city. The Chairpersons of the People's Committee of the city, communes, and wards are responsible in front of the Provincial People's Committee if there is any case of people not strictly complying the principles in Directive no. 16/CT-TTg.

For the areas at very high-risk, which have been blocked and implemented the medical isolation: Inside the scope of the hard blockade, it must provide food and necessities to the people's doors; propagandizing in many forms (including leaflets) asking people not to go out of their houses, not to go back and forth with their neighbors to avoid spreading the disease.

Outside the scope of the hard blockade, it must arrange a reasonable place to provide food and necessities, and distributing the market permission tickets to minimize people going out without any measure for control and management.

Regularly propagandizing, patrolling, and controlling to ensure thoroughly the implementation of social distancing in isolation and blockade areas./.
