COVID-19 vaccination for children took place safely and smoothly

against COVID-19 for children in Binh Thuan taken safely has contributed to
increase the coverage of COVID-19 vaccine in the community.
In 02 days (November 27 - 29), Phan
Thiet Medical Center completed the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination for
8,358 children of 12 - 17 years old. All children in Phan Thiet who have been
vaccinated are safe. In addition, some children are postponed the vaccination
due to acute illness, or taken other vaccinations less than 14 days.
Most of the remaining districts and
towns will vaccinate children on November 29, and some districts on December 01.
As counted by the Provincial Center
for Disease Control, by the afternoon of December 02, the cumulative number of
children aged 12-17 who received the first injection was 17,859 out of a total
of 135,851 children, reaching a rate of 13.1%. All children in Binh Thuan
vaccinated against COVID-19 are safe. Some children have common reactions after
vaccination such as fever, pain at injection site, muscle pain... In general,
all vaccination sites followed the injection procedure as prescribed by the
Ministry of Health./.
