Customs clearance situation at the border gates of Quang Ninh, Ha Giang

and Trade has just issued a document on the situation of customs clearance at
the border gates, open paths of Quang Ninh and Ha Giang and the prevention of
the Covid-19 epidemic from China.
Accordingly,
at Quang Ninh, during the Lunar New Year 2023, from January 21 to January 27,
2023 (i.e., December 30 to January 6 of the lunar calendar), border gates in
the Guangxi (China) still maintains import and export activities, the customs
clearance will be done by appointment. From December 31, 2022, Mong Cai city
(Quang Ninh province) will stop implementing the closed centralized working
plan at the border gates and open paths on the inter-sectoral forces and
businesses, workers and transit drivers, ferry drivers, long-range drivers;
From January 8, 2023, the sampling of Sars-CoV-2 virus by RT-PCR method for
people and exported goods will be stopped at Bac Luan bridge II Border Gate, open
path Km3+4 Hai Yen, Ka Long Border Gate.
Enterprises
and cooperatives processing and exporting dragon fruits in the province shall regularly
update the progress of goods clearance at the northern border gates to
proactively plan production, packaging, delivery and export goods to avoid
creating congestion and other adverse impacts. Only deliver goods to border
provinces after signing a sales contract and having clear trading conditions in
terms of time, border gate and open path. Classifying, packing, preserving,
clearly identifying the quality and types of goods (fruits, agricultural
products, aquatic products... ) in accordance with the conditions of transport
and delivery to shorten the time of transfer at the border gates. Complying
with the provisions of the Chinese side at Order 248, Order 249 effective from
January 1, 2022; at the same time, continuing to strictly implement regulations
on traceability, production unit code, packing house code, labeling... as well
as other relevant requirements to improve product quality and meet regulations
and standards agreed with foreign customers.
