Decent growth in trade situation in the first 6 months of 2022

to the provincial Statistics Office, the trade situation in the first 6 months
of 2022 grew quite well; Consumption demand is increasing, abundant and
diversified goods always meet people's need in a timely manner.
Specifically, the
total retail sales of consumer goods and services in June is estimated at 5,904
billion VND, increased by 1.63% compared to the previous month and 25.61% over
the same period in 2021, in which retail sales of goods is estimated at 4,090
billion VND, grew 1.56% compared to the previous month and 18.29% over the same
period in 2021. Accumulated in the first 6 months of 2022, the total retail
sales of consumer goods and services is estimated at 33,765 billion VND, increased
by 14.58% over the same period in 2021; in which the total retail sales of
goods is estimated at 23,900 billion VND, 14.06% higher than the same period in
2021.
The Consumer Price Index
(CPI) in June 2022 increased by 0.56% over the previous month, 4.06% over the
same period last year, 2.45% compared to December of the previous year; the average
CPI in the first 6 months of 2022 increased by 3.72% over the same period last
year.
