Joining the atmosphere to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the
re-establishment of Binh Thuan province, on the morning of July 14, at Dinh
Thay Palace, Tan Tien commune, La Gi town, the Department of Culture, Sports
and Tourism has coordinated with the People's Committee of La Gi town to
organize a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports
and Tourism on approving the Thay Thim Palace Festival into the list of
national intangible cultural heritage. Attending the announcement ceremony,
there are Mr. Nguyen Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member
of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the
Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Pham Van Nam - Member of the
Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the La Gi
Town Party Committee, and comrades who are leaders of departments, agencies and
unions of the province; local people and leaders.

Thay Thim Palace Festival
takes place annually from September 14 to 16 of the lunar calendar with many
rituals according to traditional customs; This is a sacred and solemn space for
locals and tourists to visit and practice worship.

ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh
said: The announcement ceremony of the Minister of Culture, Sports and
Tourism's decision on approving the Thay Thim Palace Festival into the list of national
intangible cultural heritages is in a series of activities to celebrate the 30th
anniversary of the re-establishment of Binh Thuan province.
There must be a plan
to place and rearrange stalls for souvenir, food service ... in Thay Thim’s
Palace and Tomb area in a reasonable manner; strengthen communication and
promotion of the values, meanings and characteristics of the Thay Thim Palace Festival.
In addition, it is necessary to soon develop a scheme to preserve and promote
the value of the festival for tourism development in accordance with the
regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
