According to information from the Provincial Public Security Department, during
the nine-day At Ty Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, police forces across the
province proactively and effectively implemented synchronized and decisive
measures to prevent, combat, and crack down on crimes. These efforts
contributed to maintaining political security and ensuring social order and
safety throughout the province.
Notably,
to ensure absolute safety and maintain security, order, and traffic safety
during the Tet holiday, the provincial police force implemented synchronized
and effective professional measures to prevent and combat crime. They executed
plans to safeguard firework display locations on New Year's Eve, spring
markets, and entertainment venues during Tet. Additionally, 20 task forces were
deployed to support key commune, ward, and township police units. Meanwhile,
135 armed patrol teams and traffic police units continued patrolling and
monitoring key routes and areas to maintain security, order, and traffic safety
while effectively tackling crime across the province.
Thanks to
the proactive, synchronized, and decisive implementation of operational
measures, political security, social order, and safety remained stable during
the Lunar New Year. Criminal offenses decreased by nearly 31% compared to the
same period in 2024, with no cases classified as particularly serious or
extremely serious. The provincial traffic police conducted 24/7 patrols and
checkpoints on key and high-risk traffic routes, focusing on addressing
violations that are the leading causes of traffic accidents. As a result,
compared to the same period in 2024, the number of accidents dropped by 28.57%,
fatalities decreased by 25%, and injuries declined by 63.63%. Additionally,
fire prevention and control efforts were rigorously enforced. One fire incident
was reported, but there were no casualties. Property damage was estimated at
approximately 200 million VND.
