Development of human resources in ethnic minority areas for the requirements of the new situation

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In order to implement the
Resolution No. 52/NQ-CP dated June 15, 2016 of the Government on promoting
human resource development of ethnic minorities in the 2016-2020 period, vision
to 2030, the Provincial People's Committee has promulgated many policies to
concretize targets, tasks and solutions which are suitable to the conditions of
the province.
Up to now, our province has had 01
Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School and 04 District Ethnic Minority
Boarding High Schools; The system of schools and classes in ethnic minority
areas is concerned in investing and upgrading to the national standards,
meeting the needs of studying 02 sessions/day; the teaching staff at all levels
are standardized, the quality of teaching and learning is improved; the
percentage of pupils of school age have increased, of which preschool reaches
57.6%, primary school reaches 99.9%, secondary school reaches 60.6%, the
dropout rate decreases. All communes have met the standards of universal
primary education at the right age and universal secondary education; the rate
of students graduating from secondary school and continuing to study in grade
10 is over 82.2%; Every year, over 350 students are considered for admission to
the Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School.
In the coming time, Binh Thuan
province will continue to implement the Resolution No. 52/NQ-CP in association
with well implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development
in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021 - 2030 in order
to promote human resources in ethnic minority areas of the province to the
targets set for quantity and quality.
