Distribution of mobile vaccination vehicles

(binhthuan.gov.vn) The
Ministry of Health has just issued a decision to allocate 63 specialized
vehicles for mobile vaccination to the Health Departments of provinces and
cities nationwide.
These trucks are
supported by Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company for the prevention and
control of COVID-19. Each province and city is allocated 01 vehicle. There are
08 reception points, including: Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nghe
An, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
As planned, Binh
Thuan Department of Health will receive the vehicle in Da Nang city on
07/8/2021.
The specialized mobile
vaccination vehicle is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of
safe and effective vaccination services in the areas with difficult travel
conditions, and it can also be used for sampling and testing for COVID-19.
This specialized truck
is not different from a regular truck, however, two sides of the truck can be
lifted up and installed with tarps to block the sun and rain for those who come
for COVID-19 vaccination or testing. At the same time, the rear of the truck is
equipped with steps to help people get in and out of the trunk easier. The
floor of the truck containing the tables and chairs is also lowered with
standing legs to increase the rigidity.
The tables and chairs
are fixed to the floor of the truck and can be opened/closed easily by hand.
This truck has a total of 04 tables and 08 benches, separated equally on 02
sides of the trunk, helping people to take vaccination flexibly right on the
trunk, avoiding gathering people. In addition, this specialized vehicle also
has a cooler to store vaccine doses.
