Effectively implementing social policy credit in the province

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan requiring the departments,
agencies, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies – Binh Thuan Branch, People's
Committees of districts, towns, cities and relevant units to effectively
implement social policy credit in order to participate actively in the process
of socio-economic development, ensuring social security and sustainable poverty
reduction in the province.
The objective of the
Plan is to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people about the
position, role and importance of social policy credit in the process of
organizing and implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and
laws on economic growth coupled with social progress and justice, ensuring
social security, sustainable poverty reduction, and improving the people's
material and spiritual life. At the same time, effectively implementing the peculiar
policy credit management model of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to meet
the requirements of new tasks; promoting the role and active participation of
the whole political system in the work of social policy credit, helping and
encouraging the social policy beneficiaries to get out of poverty, step by step
get rich legitimately.
Accordingly, relevant
departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall
push up the propaganda of the State's preferential credit policies to the
entire people; at the same time, to popularize the effective business loan
models, typical production and business models, helping each other to get out
of poverty and get rich, making an important contribution to realizing the goal
of sustainable poverty reduction, creating jobs, ensuring social security for
people in the locality. Developing and integrating local sustainable
socio-economic development and poverty reduction models, programs and projects
with the use of social policy credit sources to help borrowers in using loans efficiently,
improving living standards.
