Effectively implementing the Project "Building the Standing Militia Fleet to participate in the protection of sea and island sovereignty in the new situation"

the afternoon of April 18, 2022, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee - Phan Van Dang chaired the Conference on Implementation of
Plan No. 129/KH-UBND dated March 14, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee
on the execution of Project No. 10609/ DA-BQP dated September 24, 2018 of the
Ministry of National Defense on "Building the permanent militia fleets to
participate in protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands in the new
situation".
Resolution No.
33/NQ-CP of the Government approving the Project No. 10609/DA-BQP of the
Ministry of National Defense determined that, by 2025, the whole country will
have 14 permanent Militia Fleets belonging to 14 coastal provinces and cities;
which is divided into 2 phases. Binh Thuan province is assigned to build up 01
permanent Militia Fleet in phase 2 in 2023.
Speaking at the
conference, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee -
Phan Van Dang said that in order to effectively implement the Project
10609/DA-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense, the Provincial People's
Committee has assigned the Provincial Military Command to advise on the
implementation of Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP dated December 24, 2018 of the
Government and Project 10609/DA-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense. The
Provincial National Command has issued regularly the specific guidance
documents for relevant departments, agencies and localities to effectively
implement the Project.
